Twos compare and hold opposites. In Swords, the mind may keep both positions active because choosing would expose loss, conflict, or responsibility. Temporary neutrality is legitimate when it prevents a premature commitment and has a clear information-gathering purpose.
The blindfold is not proof that the person knows nothing. It can represent self-protection or a deliberate refusal to privilege one visible option. The practical question is what evidence, conversation, or deadline would make removing it safer and useful.
